When California girl Susan Murphy (voiced by Reese Witherspoon) is unexpectedly clobbered by a meteor full of outer space gunk on her wedding day, she mysteriously grows to 49-feet-11-inches tall (An inch short of being 50 feet tall, a joke on Attack of the 50 Foot Woman) and is instantly labeled a “monster” named Ginormica. The military jumps into action, and she is captured and held in a secret government compound. The world learns that the military has been quietly rounding up other monsters over the years. This ragtag group consists of the brilliant but insect-headed Dr. Cockroach, Ph.D. (voiced by Hugh Laurie); the macho Dagon the Missing Link (voiced by Will Arnett); the gelatinous and indestructible B.O.B. (voiced by Seth Rogen); and the 350-foot grub called Insectosaurus. Their confinement time is cut short however, when a mysterious alien robot named Gallaxhar (voiced by Rainn Wilson) lands on Earth and begins storming the country. As a last resort, under the guidance of General W.R. Monger (voiced by Kiefer Sutherland), on a desperate order from The President (voiced by Stephen Colbert), the motley crew of Monsters is called into action to combat the aliens and save the world from imminent destruction.

Africa seems like a great place… but is it better than their Central Park home?

The teaser trailer of the movie was released with the film Horton Hears a Who! that featured the saber-toothed squirrel cross rat, Scrat. The trailer suggests that the dinosaurs have been alive the entire time and were in fact living beneath thick layers of ice in a tropical habitat, and that after the ice thaws they will be exposed. The trailer shows a blizzard happening, while Scrat tries to get through it, when he notices his acorn. After several struggles to get to it, he is frozen when the blizzard stops. He manages to pop open his eyes, and leans toward the acorn handle. He successfully pulls it out, after an explosion. Feeling around with his foot, he finds out that he has made a hole in the ice, and begins to fall. After hitting a few trees, he slides down to the tip of a scaly back, losing the acorn. He slides down to the tip of the tail as it rises, to come face to face with a Tyrannosaurus rex. The end of the trailer shows the Tyrannosaurus Rex roaring at Scrat. |||| “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs,” to be fully produced in 3-D, is the latest installment to the hit “Ice Age” franchise, which has grossed more than $1.2 billion around the world. “Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” will be directed by Oscar-nominated Carlos Saldanha, who directed “Ice Age: The Meltdown” and co-directed “Ice Age.” The film is being produced by Academy Award-winning Blue Sky Studios, the creative force behind all the “Ice Age” films and “Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who.”

The stop-motion film, marking Anderson’s first foray into animation, is an adaptation of Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story, centering on a clever fox who must outwit three mean, dimwitted farmers who try their hardest to hurt Mr. Fox and his family. Clooney will voice Mr. Fox, while Blanchett voices his wife.

In this world, Coraline finds a new version of her real mother (Teri Hatcher) and father (John Hodgman), her off-kilter neighbors, Miss Forcible (Dawn French), Miss Spink (Jennifer Saunders) and Mr Bobinsky (Ian MacShane), and the Cat (Keith David). However, this other world soon begins to unravel and she becomes a prisoner to her Other Mother and must count on her resourcefulness, determination, and bravery to get back home.

In post-World War II Japan, a janitor finds a deathly ill boy lying beside a metal candy container.
